Spares & Consumables
WMEC offer a wide range of spares and consumables for all of your plant’s needs, from day-to-day consumables to replacement parts. We supply chemicals for all our treatment plants at competitive rates and can offer bulk discounts on many items. All our chemicals are available in sizes from 25 litres to 1000 litre IBC’s. Below is a list of the more usual spares and consumables that we supply, but it is by no means an exhaustive list. We can quote for anything that you might need and more:
- WMEC treatment agents
- Filter bags and filter elements
- Activated carbon and complete carbon units
- Bentonite flocculant, acids, caustic soda, ferric sulphate and liquid lime (Kalic)
- Air pumps, sump pumps, centrifugal pumps and pump spares
- Actuated valves, fittings/pipes/gaskets and control panel components
Many of the items listed above are kept in stock and can be dispatched the same day. We can also fit and service all of these parts.
Service Contracts
As well as spares and consumables, WMEC also offer a comprehensive after sales service for your treatment system to maintain the plant at optimum working efficiency. From advice over the telephone, to a visit from our engineers, we are always available to answer any queries.
Service contracts for your machine are available in whatever format you want, be it an informal schedule if you use you plant irregularly, or a fixed term schedule so you don’t have to think about your plant. We can also arrange to have your waste sludge removed, and as we have a bulk contract for sludge removal you may find that we are far less expensive than your current waste disposal company.

Consulting Advice & Trials
The thorough approach that WMEC take to assessing individual requirements for our plant requires key skills in understanding the specific nature of customer waste water problems. This allows us to make feasible proposals for processes to deal with the problem or even to turn it into an opportunity for waste reduction, recycling or other economic improvement.
We have in our workshop several trial machines that we use prior to providing a full quotation. Our customers always have piece of mind when seeing a trial plant operate as they have no doubt as to whether the full-scale plant will operate correctly.
We are first and foremost engineering specialists whose interest is in solving your problems, not providing expensive and voluminous reports. Our fee rates are very competitive and we always focus on recommending the right solution for your site and process!
