Issue: | With the growing of a wide range of crops the need for careful application of pesticides is of utmost importance. The site has a number of sprayer units that require regular washing before refilling. The site is on level land with a main river close by. |
Resolution: | Setting up a bunded wash and fill area with storage tank for waste. A standard SENTINEL plant treats the waste and pumps it to a storage tank. This water is used for wash and refilling of the sprayers. NOTE This customer does not use herbicide sprays. |
Impact: | The customer recycles his wash water and now meets environmental regulations. |
